‘Borgy’ is a name well known in Australian v8 circles. Everyone knows him as one of the long standing and eternally competitive drivers of the last decade. Brian has many achievements throughout his long career, but his longevity amongst the top 45 Australian sim drivers is a testament to Brian’s passion for the sport. A 2021 V8SCOPS Bathurst 1000 podium was most likely the highlight of Brian’s career to date, so don’t discount Brian’s ability of experience in getting the job done.
Brian stepped down from the burden of operating his own team in late 2022 and has scaled back to a single car operation in 2024 where he will be able to focus on his driving and nothing else. Expect to see Borgy climb back through the field as the year goes on and he rediscovers his speed, because we’d all love to see the famous 017 bag a few great results throughout the 2024 season.
